Happy Halloween!!!

No I didn't get my days mixed up, tomorrow I have school alllll morning and then I work allll night so I will not have time to post and I HAD to have a halloween post! We had a great weekend with the Woods at Slasher Movie Fest '07 (see mel's blog) and while Dan did fall asleep very early (he works days and had been up since 0400!!) he or rather Michael Myers made an appearance!! For all of you who have seen the first Halloween, you should remember this scene. :) Dan left to go get some more drinks with Steve and they didn't come back, only Michael!!

We carved our pumpkins Friday night, it was soo much fun. Dan hasn't carved one since he was like 8, it was hilarious! Last night we got to see Kylie, I know that isn't halloween related but we never get to see her, it always seems like she is at her dad's the weekend we come home, rats! So it was a real treat to see her last night. She loooooves Dan and loves saying his name, we must have heard it a bazillion times! Hey Dan, Whatcha doing Dan? I wish she was as close as Liam, we could see her sooo much more. We are going to get them together (kylie and liam) for some halloween pics next week so I will be sure to post them, they will look so cute together!! Oh and Kylie does not have a mullett, her hair is falling out everywhere from her ponytail...hee hee!! I hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween, hopefully the pranksters leave the cemetery alone and not too many pumpkins get squarshed, I will let you know how my shift goes!! Tah tah for now.....

Louie finally lived up to his name...chewybear

So uh yeah Louie has never ever chewed anything, I only came up with that loving nick name cuz it rhymed with Louie. Well, we went to Target tonight and came home to find our precious little chewybear had chewed his pressure wrap half way off and he knew he did a bad thing. He had to have a drain put in his knee due to all the fluid building up complete with a pressure wrap and uhhh I guess Louie didn't think it really needed to stay on til monday. He did leave the drain in, but we shall see for how long. I cut the rest of the wrap off and he seems to be happier so maybe he won't chew out the drain!! What a silly chewybear!

Ummmmm I was soooo not going to post these til Halloween but I couldn't resist. George is our little bumble bee and Louie is our huge sunflower!! It took us forever just to get these shots and they are not perfect, but we love them.

Date Night Date Night! And Megan and Dave are having a boy!!!!

Tonight was date night courtesy of Mel and Steve, thank you guys soooooo much!! We had a great night at Red Lobster and we still have movie tickets to use for helping Mel and Steve with their house. You guys are sooo sweet and totally didn't have to do it, we had so much fun helping you and we love you lots!! But, thank you so much again for our date night one and two!! (we are waiting for Saw 4 to come out to use the movie tickets) Oh and for those of you who are wondering, we did not do the endless shrimp, I got salmon and shrimp and Dan got Steak and shrimp it was GREAT!!

Other exciting news....DAVE AND MEGAN ARE HAVING A BOY!!!! Dave and Megan were on my blog previously, Dave is Dan's bestest friend ever and of course Megan is his wife, they are loved by us very much. Megan is due in May and they just found out they are having a boy, Sean Edward Breiner!! Congrats you two, we can't WAIT to see him (in the little baseball booties...hee hee )!!

I told ya, I hacked it off!!! It's really short in the back as you can see and then gets longer in the front! It's soooo weird washing and drying it, I feel like I don't have any hair! It hasn't been this short in my life! So I am taking a brutal truth poll, which do you like better, long or short? I know I will grow it back out but for a short do and a new change I love it, but I will not keep it forever!!

I tried to load a video from when we went camping and of course it didn't want to work. So no video for video vednesday! These are a few pics from camping, I have soooo many it's crazy!! Check out the length of my hair cuz uhhhhh no more!! I got it all hacked off last night! I wanted a change and had Jess cut it for me, it's just above my shoulders, I will post pics soon of it. We also got to see Kylie last night while getting my hair cut and learned she is going to be T-rex for halloween, it's the cutest costume ever. I LOVED dinos growing up and it's sooo neat to see Kylie loving them too. We did forget the camera so we will be making a trip back and taking some pics, she is too cute in that thing. I will say I do have the cutest T-rex in the world as my wallpaper on my phone. Tah tah for now....

Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts and warm wishes for Louie. We got him home friday and he is doing very well. He isn't using his leg yet but that is to be expected. We had to buy a baby gate to put up to keep Louie in the kitchen/laundry room and keep George out! George is just too silly to be around him now, I can see him jumping on Louie and ripping a staple out! I took a little bit of a close up, I know you are welcome! He has about 20 staples and they will be coming out next week sometime. It's 4-6 weeks of lots of rest and leash walks only for Louie, hopefully he doesn't tear it again in that time. He is pretty lazy to begin with so I think we will be good. I will keep you all updated.

On another good note, I started my clinicals last week and my bubs got me a dozen pink roses on my first day. He knew I was nervous and also very proud of me for getting this far and got me some roses...thanks bubs I love you! My clinicals are going great, I am in a medical plaza so I don't get any trauma what so ever but it is still fun cuz you get something different everyday. I LOVE IT! Hope you all had a good weekend!

Our poor chewy bear.....

Louie tore his cruciate (ligament in his knee) and has to have surgery. I feel so bad for him, he hurt it while we were on vacation(just running around in the yard), I just thought he strained a muscle or something, well it didn't get any better so we took him to the vet and found out the bad news. He has to have surgery otherwise his other knee will more than likely blow out due to his size cuz he will not use his left leg at all. So, he is going to be dropped off tonight, surgery in the morning and I don't even get to get him back til friday cuz it's such a huge surgery, I am very sad and worried. Dr. Chambers is doing the surgery and Louie couldn't be in any better hands but there is always risks when it comes to surgery, so keep your fingers crossed for our chewy bear! I will post pics when we get him home. :(

Pumpkin Patch Day!!

Today we went to Carolyn's County Cousins Pumpkin Patch (yeah say that 5 times fast) and had such a good time! Although if we could have changed one thing it would have been the weather! It was soooo humid and hot, we were very upset, come on it's OCTOBER!! It did sprinkle when we were out in the patch but it only increased the humidity! We had fun even though we all felt the need to shower mid-way through, they had a petting zoo, lots of photo ops, a train, FOOD, mazes and much more! We took a tractor ride out to the punkin patch and had fun there too! We all decided this place was going to be an October tradition, it better be colder next year! They had the best apple cider slushes and pumpkin donuts that we must go back for every year. Thanks guys for a great time and we are very much looking forward to our scary movie/eating fest marathon!

Ok, so that was me and momma Jackson trying to c-walk!! I don't think snoop would be impressed! Ha Ha! It was hilarious doing it and that is all that matters!! We had the best time and this night had to be one of them! After we did our "show" we went to the playground and took some pics, I will post those later! We are off to the pumpkin patch in the morning with the woods, hopefully it doesn't rain on us!! Keep your fingers crossed!!

We got up so early and it was sooo cold!

I had to post the muscle pics! hee hee The other one we got up soooo early to go fishing and it was too stinkin windy, you can see it in the water behind me. It turned out to be a pretty pic though with the sunset. I have LOTS more pics to post from our vacation.....I will add some more this weekend! Tah Tah for now....

We are back...and it's VIDEO VEDNESDAY!!!!

We are back and we wish we were still there! We had sooooo much fun, it was gorgeous, and peaceful, we fished A LOT, we ate a lot(I will not divulge how much weight we each gained), we played scattegories, scrabble, washers, hill billy golf and 20 questions, we napped, we went into a cute little town called Hannibal and shopped, the list goes on. It was so much fun. I can't get over how gorgeous the place was, the camp ground was FULL of trees, it really made you feel like you were there alone, the lake was gorgeous too! These are pics from the first day we went fishing. The video is on one night that we walked down the the amphitheater and we put on a little show. Dan is C-walking (for those of you who don't know crypt walking is a dance that snoop dog does and Dan learned it for some reason) Wait til you see the video I put on here tomorrow, I know I know it's not going to be video vednesday but I can't wait til next week to show you....Momma Jackson it's the one of us!!!! ( I think my favorite part of this video is Dad Jackson calling Dan a nimrod...lol)

I have so many pics from our vacation that I will have enough posts for a month, I am gonna spread them out so I don't overwhelm you!! We would not of had as much fun if Mom and Dad Jackson did not go, they really made it a blast and we certainly would have not eaten as well as we did!
