Ok, so this post is lots of good news!!! I will graduate this
September from radiology technologist school (
whooo hoo) and the whole reason I went to rad tech school was so I could go into ultrasound school. You can't get into ultrasound school unless you have a nursing or rad tech degree. Well the lead ultrasound tech and other ultrasound techs at Truman, where I do my rad
clinicals, just love me and really want me for their student(to do my
clinicals with them). One of the techs is leaving in about a year and a half and they have been looking for a good student to replace her. So, she totally put in great words for me at
Washburn with the director for me to start this August. It would be a few weeks before I graduate from rad tech school but they said it's not a problem, I just have to take my boards as soon as I can! I am SUPER excited. I filled out the worlds biggest application packet for ultrasound school and I will hear soon if I am in for sure for this august!
Yaaay!
So that news brings me to my first pic, with the 99% chance of ultrasound school just around the corner Dan and I decided it wasn't the probably the smartest time to try to buy a house, we had plans too before but we will be able to afford so much more of a house after I am out of ultrasound school and it would be less stressful for me to have to work so much and go to school so much. So we found these awesome town homes for rent that are BRAND NEW in Platte city and we are moving in in September!! The are so nice, 2.5 baths, 2 bedrooms, granite counter tops, ceiling fans everywhere, a garage, back patio and all the things that go along with an apartment complex, nice pool, 24 hr fitness and a clubhouse. We are super excited and we are getting it for a GREAT price. So, after we move in, I will post pics of the inside!! I will let you know about ultrasound school as soon as I found out for sure!!! Yippppeeeee
Oh and the other pic is of George being a nerd, that is how I found him one morning, all wrapped up like a little burrito!
