My boys.....

My boys!!! Louie is the biggin, he is a great dane/mastiff mix, (who weighs in at a nice slim and trim 140lbs. and George is only 14lbs. and expected to get to 19lbs.) and you all know george, my newest addition!! I broke down and bought George a shirt the other day, (hee hee) it says DUDE...WHERES MY BONE?? It cracks me up!! He was not so excited. The first few minutes was spent by George doing sommer saults (sp?) to try to flip it off of him, it was hilarious!! Then he crashed out from all the excitement in his new bed. What a nerd! Louie by the way loves George, I have had Louie since he was 8wks old and he just turned 4, he is getting soooo old! He was questioning my thought process when I first brought George home, but that only lasted a day. I swear he sat and stared at me all day while George jumped around him like "MOM!! What were you thinking?" Now, they are truly brothers!! I just love 'em to death. Oh George by the way, is getting neutered on thursday!!! When you see him again he will be just a little bit lighter!!! ;)

Ten years....oh my has it really been THAT long?

Our 10 year reunion!!!
So, oh my my I can't believe it has been ten stinkin years!!! I wasn't going to go to the reunion but decided to and uh yeah, it was ok I guess. It was great to see a few faces, Jan, Sharon, Ya-tes, Colleen, of course Mel, but I could have done without the others. If you are going to scream like a two year old when you see someone cuz you are so excited, why not keep in touch with them? I mean come on, we are almost 30 years old people!!! Anyways, we started the night off with dinner with Mel, Steve, Ya-tes and Colleen, Ricky, Nicci, and Ian joined us later. That was a blast. Off to the reunion we went, stayed for 4 hours, (thought we were gonna have to roll ya-tes out of there!!;) ) Then off to ya-tes' hotel room, but of course not without our mandatory stop at Sonic!! It was fun but probably would have been more fun if we had just planned a night out to all hang out! You would think at the reunion after ten years the click's wouldn't still apply but they did and people stayed in there corners and didn't dare adventure elsewhere!! Yeah and my silly computer still won't let me post the stinking pics vertically for whatever reason!!
Ya-tes, me and Mel after the good 'ol reunion!!
Awww....a kiss from my honey.
Mel is gonna love me for this!! She has the cuter one of us!!
The boys....I don't know......... :)

Rock, Paper, Scissors......

We played rock, paper, scissors for nasty Harry Potter jelly beans!!! They were in nasty flavors like vomit, sardine, booger, black pepper, rotten egg, dirt, soap, earthworm....the list goes on. They were NASTY!!! There were a few nice ones in the mix like toasted marshmallow and tutti frutti, but those were few and far between!! It was really gross yet amazing how real they tasted, vomit, yeah, like you just threw up and you had a little left over in your mouth!! See below, Steve and Dan got to eat one each!!! Soap, tasted like you just got a big ol squirt of dawn in your mouth!! Yeah, I know we are 12 for playing this game, but it was hilarious!! Good times on a Friday night!! Before this Mel and I went to lunch, ran some errands then grilled chicken for the boys for dinner!! Our dessert was the nasty jelly beans!! Oh by the way, Mel is a rock paper scissors champ....she only had to eat one nasty one, when she did have to eat a bean, it was tutti frutti!!
The Beans ladies and gentlemen!!!

After the festivities!!
Mel and her tutti frutti!!
Do I even have to tell you what flavor he is eating? :)
Dude, it really does taste like VOMIT!!! :)
I don't even remember what this flavor was...but clearly it was nasty!!

Thanks Mel and Steve for a great day/night!! Looking forward to our saturday night tradition to start!!! I will bring the beans!!! Hee Hee
P.S. Next time Momma and Dad Holt can't skip out on us with an excuse of the movies!!! ;)

Hillbilly Golf!!

Pictures of hillbilly golf I promised! I had never heard of this game til I met Daniel. It's kind of hard to see in the pics but you have two golf balls that are attached by a rope(check them out in dan and momma jackson's hands) and the object of the game is to gently toss them onto the pvc pipe ladder. Each rung is worth so many points. Yeah, I am all excited because I got my balls on the 3 pointer rung (which is the highest) and that was the last time I did that during the entire 9 games!! We got our booty's beat by momma and dad jackson!!! You would think that as much as I love this game I would be GOOD at it....not so much. I just need to get some more practice in. Mel, pay attention, we will be bringing out the hillbilly golf on our saturday night hang outs!!! You too can see how good I am at this game!!! It's even better when alcohol is added to the mix!! You know what I said about gently tossing, yeah, I kinda hurl them and they generally go in bad places!! Practice makes pefect!!
I hope everyone is having a great week, I am stressed out to the max with school and work but it's not forever.....right?!?!?! School and work the rest of the week for me, and a great lunch with Mel on friday at momma maynards tea room, then possibly the start of what is going to be a saturday night tradition with the Wood's this saturday!! Can't wait!! Tah Tah for now....

A little shout out to my cousins!!! First, Stefan added some microsoft additions to my computer that I was REALLY needing for school! He also fixed it so my posts now can have color!! Don't know if anyone noticed, but some of my posts text is not very colorful, the colored ones were done elsewhere and not on my computer! My wonderful cuz Stef fixed it for me and we now have COLOR!! Not to mention he has taught me everything about my new imac, without him I would be LOST!! Thanks Stef, I LOVE YOU!!
Next shout out is to Tay, thanks Tay for ALL the great pics you always take! I wish my pics turned out half as nice as yours!!! Thanks for always getting copies to me or letting me steal your memory card for two days!! Hee Hee!! I LOVE YOU TAY!!!
Finally, a shout out to my WONDERFUL auntie poo Sharonus!! Without you the world wouldn't have my two favorite cousins!! I LOVE YOU SHARON!!!! p.s. I did find those pics of us from westport 7 years ago, they will be making an appearance as soon as I get my scanner up and going!!!

*See Stef I didn't forget!!!

On the 6th of July.....

Grant's Farm!!!!!
We all got up early and made a trip to Grant's Farm. Grant's farm is where Budweiser keeps their Clydesdale's.....they are huge and gorgeous!! They also have tons of other things to do as you can see.....we spent most of the day here.....

So hugemungus and pretty!!

On the bridge
On the tram which took us crazy close to the buffalo's!!
Feeding the baby goats with little milk bottles!!! I wanted to take them ALL home!
Budweiser gives away FREE samples!! Two per day per person please!

What a great day! I couldn't believe all the things they had to do! They had a park with free roaming buffalo, deer, Texas long horns, spotted donkeys from Africa, and lots more deer from all over the world. We got so close to them in the tram, it was crazy!! They also had turtles, elephants, macaw's, lots of food, and of course beer! Oh and I can't forget my favorite thing, the BABY GOATS!!! Tons of them and you feed them milk out of a baby bottle, it was so funny! We were doing good and each had our own baby goat and then BAM out of no where(well not so much out of nowhere, they were just doing their own thing until they realized we had MILK!!) lots more showed up, which is the pic from above, we were laughing so hard! After Grant's Farm it was to Imo's Pizza then off to the Science Center to watch Superman Returns on IMAX!! Yeah, my stomach was still messed up from the previous days activities (roller coasters) but it was still cool. I have pics from Imo's, yes the pizza place, it's Dan's FAVORITE!! Those pics will make their debut soon! Thanks Momma and Dad Jackson for such a fun day....can't wait to come back and visit again soon!

On the 5th of July....SIX FLAGS!!!

We went to SIX FLAGS!!! We got a charactre (yeah I know spelled wrong...who cares!) drawing done....lol...I love it! Neither one of us had ever had this done before and we were so excited to do it! Yeah I know it's not the right way, but blogger decided it didn't need to be vertical, so you are gonna have to just deal til I can fix it!
Anyways, yeah we also confirmed what I thought to be true, I am not so much a roller coaster or crazy spinning ride goer...umm yeah that leaves the water and kiddie rides for me! :) I did brave TWO roller coasters for Dan though, the Batman and the Ninja. My stomach was messed up for TWO days! We did the roller coasters after the drawing, then two water rides and the ferris wheel (which dan HATED...scared to death of heights but LOVES roller coasters....weird) it was like 120 degrees outside and we were a sweatin, so we went to steak and shake for a very late lunch and then fixed dinner for Mom and Dad Jackson and drank some more of that goooooood sangria Mom Jackson makes sooooo well!!!! The rest of the evening was completed with our very most favorite thing to do...just hanging out with loved ones! On the 6th day of July.....Grants Farm, Science City and IMO'S PIZZA.........

Happy 4th of July!!!

Dan and I spent the 4th with his wonderful parents in St. Louis!! We had a GREAT relaxing day with LOTS of eating! Dan's mom fixed bbq pork steaks, ribs, burgers, hot dogs, deviled eggs, asian salad, corn on the cob, OH and of course....GARLICE CHEESY BREAD!!! It was all VERY VERY good! I will not tell you how many trips I made back to the "buffet" just for garlic cheesy bread! We took a nap (awesome...hadn't done that in YEARS!!) Then played some hill billy golf,(yeah we got our booty's kicked by Mom and Dad Jackson....gotta brush up on my hill billy golf skills!) pics to follow, and watched fireworks on the tele....yeah I know we were lazykins...but the fireworks got the best of us and Dan and I went to Sonic, got us each a blast and then bought lots of sparklers, which is what I am holding and almost burnt our faces off just for this pic! We goofed around like two little kids in the driveway while everyone slept with our sparklers, ahhhh we laughed so hard! These are the times......

The newest addition to Manda P. Land.......GEORGE!!

George, Louie and Manda make three!!! There are now three members of the Manda P apartment!! George was added last wednesday, he is a 4 month old boston terrier! I just love him, and so does Louie! Well, at first Louie was like, what the hell is this thing? George is only 12lbs. and Louie is 130lbs.(pics to come of Louie soon) But after the first day, Louie fell in love, as did I the minute I laid eyes on him! Dan and I got up at three in the morning to get the little stinker, the breeder was from Arkansas but just happened to be driving to Kansas City Missouri for a tournament for her son! So, we only had to drive 15 minutes instead of 6 hours....wooohoooo! This is George ladies and gentlemen, eat your hearts out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLIE!!!

Wow! Kylie Marie is two already!! She turned two on June 23rd!! Yeah, I know, I am a little late, but later is better than never!!!
We had a great day at the parental units with a grill out for Kylie. Lots of food, fun and family! Jess started out with a pinata for the kids, then we ate, and ate, and ate!! Some of Kylie's presents were a pink and purple four wheeler from the g-units, cute pink cowboy boots(that she put on immediately and would NOT take off), a ballerina outfit...lots more, and I promise I will post pics of her and her pink boots soon, they were so cute and she LOVED them! Happy Birthday again Kylie, I love you so much, you are so precious, my first niece, you will always be extra special to me because of that! I hope you have many more happy birthdays, as happy as you were at your party in your little pink boots! I love you sweetie!!
So the fourth of July is next, Daniel and I went to St. Louis!! It was a blast, we spent a week with his parents and had so much fun! In fact, tonight is our last night, we have to leave tomorrow :( Crazy fourth of July pics to follow........
