As you know, last night was our American Idol/Lisa party night!!! Mel and I invited a few guests to surprise Lisa while she was home with some Idol action. We had a great night, the kids were alll so cute together!! Dan and I want to add to that kid crew soon!! We missed you Momma Jackson and wish all our other bloggers could have been there too!! Kendall was sooo cute, she slept through all of our craziness, although I don't know how, we were sooo loud! I hogged her for a good portion of the night, of course. While she was sleeping in my arms, Suishi walked right up and lifted up her dress to take a peek, it was hilarious!! Hank was soooo cute, hanging out and posing for some pics. I think Steve got a few good ones. Yeah I had been at clinicals allll day and was tired and wasn't really thinking when I got dressed, reason for the bum attire, t-shirt and old painting pants....lol....ah well what are you going to do? It was so much fun hanging out with everyone, we must have a girls night soon. Oh---and all you non-american Idol fans, you know you had fun watching it.

Yaaaaayyyyy I heart David Cook!!

America finally used their brain and David Cook WON AMERICAN IDOL by 12 million votes!!!! See momma holt, our votes did count!!! We had a great party at Momma Holt's (we really missed Momma Jackson, wish you could have been with us) with lots of pizza, drinks and key lime pie....mmmmm mmmmm. We also had a mini surprise party for Lisa, pics to follow.
We are just so glad that little boy Archuletta did not win!!! Yaaaay David Cook!!!

I always talk about how big Kylie is and have never really posted a pic to show ya so yeah, here ya go! This pic is from our engagement/bday party we had. Kylie and Liam played in the sand/water thing Kylie has forever, they loved it! Kylie and Liam are just about a year apart, Kylie will turn three June 23, but she is just so stinkin tall!!! I told ya she wears 6T, it's crazy!!
The next pic is of the boys playing legos together!! I wanted to jump in, I love legos and played with them growing up (didn't everybody??) but Mel and I sat on the couch and let them have their boy time! Hope everyone is having a great week, I can't believe it is already the middle of May.....CRAZY!!!

Our little birdie adventure is sadly over...they have all grown up. It was really amazing to see how fast the little stinkers grew but the night they "got" their feathers was totally amazing. I am not kidding on the first two pics, the top one was taken on a wednesday around 6pm and the next one was thursday around 4pm...CRAZINESS--- the change in them! They left yesterday and all that is left is the little egg that did not hatch. Goodbye Peetie, Frankie, Bert and Garth you were so fun to watch grow up....stay away from the cats! :)

A few cool signs....

I have been meaning to put these pics up FOREVER!!! The Mel street sign we took one night on our way out to get ice cream(in st. louis)---I was like Bubs STOP! I think I scared him...lol. So yeah had to take a pic of that. On the way home from St. Louis we finally stopped by Danville to take a pic of Dan by the sign and ummm yeah, not a good idea to do at one a.m., stupid sign is too reflective and I couldn't get Dan and the sign in it so we opted for the sign only. Next time we shall stop when it is light outside! :) Tah tah for now....

Seriously I was wondering how long Jason was going to last, he looks and talks like he is high EVERYTIME he has been on the past few weeks. I am really worried David A is gonna win only due to all the teeny bopers....I really don't want him to. I agree with you all and think he is waaaaaay too young! GO DAVID COOK! We must all do our part and vote on the finale night! Momma Holt, we must start planning our pizzza finale party!! It's right around the corner!!

We had such a great weekend, where do I start?!?!?! Well, saturday Momma and Dad Jackson got here in the afternoon and Momma Jackson and I went dress shopping to Ida's Custom Veils....yeah no need for anyone to ever go there...lol. It was ok but their prices were RIDICULOUS and I had so many more choices, fun and saved so much money at David's Bridal. After we shopped we came home to the boys and had Smokehouse (YUM) hung out, Bubs went to work and Momma and Dad Jackson went back to the hotel.
Sunday morning, all the girls got together for some serious dress shopping at David's Bridal! We had so much fun, the two and a half hours we were there FLEW by. I tried on a ton of dresses and found the "one"! If my bubs didn't check my blog I would show you but sorry girls, gonna have to wait til October to see it, just know it's gorgeous! :)
While we were shopping my dad smoked 6 slabs of ribs, 6 whole chickens and 4 lbs of Salmon, it was soooooooooooooo good. My mommy made the BEST wedding cake...yup wedding cake! Mel and I have been craving wedding cake and I thought no better time than now!! It had 3 layers of white cake with a layer of raspberry and lemon curd in the middle....WOW it was good. My mom didn't really have time to decorate it, what she did do she did in 10 mins and it looked so cute! Thanks everyone for coming to the birthday/engagement party and hanging out, it was amazing! Momma and Dad Jackson, you fit right in, you never would have guessed we weren't all related....we will be soon though!!! :) (momma holt---how did we manage to not get any pics together?!?!---you can see you and Jim in the very back middle of the group shot! )

Tornadic Activity.....

Our babies, I took this on wednesday.

So, tonight was supposed to be a kickball game night (stevie-poo and dan are in a kickball league), they play every thurs and for the past 5 weeks, tonight makes 6, the game has been canceled due to the weather. We all went to Taco Bueno for a quick dinner and off to the fields we went, we got there and ummmm the tornado sirens were going off. So, we found out the game was canceled (prob smart idea) and home we headed. We stayed at the Woods' for a little bit and taught Suishi some new phrases! While we were outside admiring the sky the tornado sirens were going off and Suishi kept saying fire engines, it was cute. We tried to tell him tornado sirens and nope he would have notthing to do with it, they were fire engines!! Hopefully next thurs they get to play, we shall see!!
Oh and as for our babies, I named them Frankie and Peetie, Dan named the other two Bert and Garth....lol...we are silly. They are getting sooooo big.
One more day til we see Momma and Dad Jackson......yaaaaaay! We can't wait to see you guys!
Sunday the moms and bridal party are going wedding dress shopping....yaaaaay then that afternoon we are having an engagement/birthday party at the rents with lots of food, I will be posting lots of pics from that, wish me luck in finding "the" dress! ( I can't believe I am going to be sooo old!)
