Let's play....Where's George....

Hee Hee! What a little nerd!! George LOVES I mean LOVES to snuggle so it wasn't surprising to find him snuggled in my pillow fortress the other day! He is so funny. He finds the nicest places to sleep while I am getting ready for school or work. This one just cracked me up! I really think he didn't think I could see him. This has been his new sleeping spot, we shall see what other comfy places he finds.
If anyone wants a snuggler, get a boston terrier, I mean Louie loves to snuggle just as much as George, but it's really hard to snuggle with a 140 pounder!! So I guess I should say, if you want a perfect snuggler size, get a boston!! He doesn't bark much either, which I thought was odd, ususally the little ones are the mouthiest, he is really quiet. Dr. Chambers schooled me on the breed and I guess they were bred for people who weren't supposed to have dogs in apartments in Boston, so they were bred to be quiet, apartment friendly, velcro (very glued to people) dogs, and that he is!

I know you all know how great Janalin's photography work is but wow, she is amazing. Not only does she know what shots to take, she makes it so much fun to do it!!! We started off by my sissy Jess doing my hair and makeup---which by the way Jess, was amazing also. Thank you so much for taking time out of your crazy busy day to drive all the way up here to do my hair and makeup. No one could have even come close to doing what you did. Then slipping into Jan's old wedding dress, which by the way I need to get a few ribs taken out due to it not zipping up in the back, it was hilarious, Jan had to pin it to my bra strap, my ribcage is just too wide!!
Janalin started off her photo shoot in an alley in the GHETTO in KC!! It was great! Then off to the plaza for some more shots. Dan was with us too and was in a few shots in a white shirt and black dress pants. We even had a couple tell us congratulations as we walked around the plaza, I was like oh, it's just for pictures, if it was the real thing my dress would fit right!!! I would have loved to see their faces when they saw the back of my dress completely open with my bra strap hanging out!! The best picture taking time had to be in the fountain, yup I got in the green dirty fountain at the plaza, it was FREEZING even with how hot it was, and it was sooooo much fun. You should have seen all the people that were out there, they were staring like what the heck.....I got completely soaked, hair and all, it was GREAT!!!
Jan, I hope you got some shots that you wanted, this was all for you baby!!! Dan and I had so much fun, you will always be my go to girl when it comes to pictures, you my dear are amazing!! Thanks for such a great night and we can't wait for you and Vic to come out here again so we can all stuff our faces at McCormick and Schmidts!!! Can't wait to see the pics!!

p.s. For those of you who are wondering, yes the cheeseburger dude was still there trying to collect downpayments, he asked us twice last night, Jan thought it was as funny as we did!

So, today after class Dan and I went to the plaza to scope out some shots for Jan's trash the dress we are doing tomorrow. It was freakin 103 I swear! It was fun though, we passed a really dirty grody dude who asked us to help him because he was trying to put a down payment on a cheeseburger....I about peed my pants. He was dead serious, asking everyone that. After we had been away from him for a few minutes Dan said he would have helped him out if he had a Cardinals hat on, but it was the Cubs.....what a silly boy!! Lol. Oh and we ate at P.F. Changs, never ate there before, Dan loves it so we stopped in for some Chinese.....yummy! It was great! And, they happened to make a double order of what Dan ordered, the honey shrimp and gave him two plates of it, it was so good, we ate like 57 shrimps!!! (yes again it is my incorrect word) We are looking forward to tomorrow, hopefully the weather gods will be nice to us and not make it 103, yeah right!! :)

With only one weekend left.....

Our weekend was filled with paint, sanding, dark chocolate m&m's, 30 tacos and some finishing touches with two of our bestest friends! This weekend we tackled Steve and Mel's kitchen and it looks FANTASTIC!!! Me and Mel went to In-a-tub saturday night (yeah I know, weird name) for tasty tacos, Mel and Steve had just had them for the first time last weekend and we had to try them. I had always just driven by and made fun of the name!They were very tasty and lots of em....they are on the small side so we ordered 30 for the 4 of us pigs! Yeah, we only put down 20 the first night and had some cold tacos the next morning!! And Mel decided to get me hooked on dark chocolate peanut m&m's, thans mel for buying two HUGE bags of those darn things!! Next weekend we are gonna be helping moving in the WOODS!!! Should make for a great weekend, we are hoping for 107 degree weather...hee hee....NOT!!

This week is filled with the usual school and work, but I get to see Jan and help her out in her trash the dress photo shoot on tuesday downtown on the plaza, I am REALLY looking forward to that. It should be lots of fun! Looking forward to seeing you on Tues Jan!!! Tah Tah for now....

We spent our weekend with our favorite people painting again....guess who!!! Mel and Steve...you are right! We got a LOT done this weekend but they still have things to do. Saturday night we stayed up working our booty's off til 2 a.m.!! Then Steve gave us a puppet light show, the scorpion was the BEST!! ;) Sunday we painted more and the boys moved the fridge and stove around so their new stuff will fit when it comes! My favorite room was the living room with the khaki walls and brick fire place, but after seeing Liam's room and one of the bathroom's done, I must go with Liam's room, I love the greens Mel and Steve picked, way to go!!

Nothing really new this week, same ol school and work, and still counting down to the camping trip with Momma and Dad Jackson at the end of Sept, when I finally get a little break from school!! Also wishing fall was here, that is our FAVORITE time of the year, plus it is full of my fave holidays! Hope everyone is doing well...tah tah for now!!

Sunday was a great day, but we have to start from the beginning. Dan and I got roped into a DUI check lane that didn't let us get to bed until 5 am, very good times!! We wanted to be at Mel and Steve's between 9-10 a.m. but uh yeah, we didn't start the day til 11 with them! So, we might have been a little delirious, which might explain the whole time I was telling Dan to watch where he stepped I was dumping paint on the floor from the pan, it was hilarious. Don't worry it was all on the drop cloth, otherwise we or I would have been kicked out immediately as it was quite a large puddle of paint! Dan flipped off the sponge roller a couple of times too, no worries, no stains. So, Mel and Steve we promise to get more sleep for this saturday and not be so goofy with our painting skills!! Thanks for the pizza, beer, cookies, and of course good times. We are very much looking forward to Saturday. Oh and just for all you out there, their house ROCKS!!! Dan and I wanted to buy it from them. It has the coolest set up and the coolest BACK YARD you have ever seen. No worries, you will be able to view the backyard when it cools down due to lots of gatherings at the "new" hang out in KC, the WOODS!!

I am a little baby bird....

Friday night we made a spontaneous trip to the fair with my rents, Jess and Kylie. Well, Kylie loved the frozen lemonade and blue raspberry drinks we got and instead of asking for a drink, she would just hold her mouth open like a baby bird.....it was soooo funny!!! She is so stinkin cute!! Oh, by the way it was only 130 degrees even at 8 p.m., hence the sweaty papa pic! Oh, and that is my papa again with us, not joe cool, he decided he needed to wear his shades at night too to look extra smooth! Hee hee, I love my parents. Great way to spend a friday night, sweatin like pigs while walking amongst them! Oh, one of the pigs did get loose and walk around by us, he was HUGE and sooooo cute! I wanted to take him home!

I AM SOOOO ANGRY!!!

Somebody stole my freakin flowers off my patio!!! My mommy bought me the cutest little pot of red and white flowers for 4th of July and it actually lived and was growing quite nicely on my patio and now it is GONE!! It was there last night, and I was gone for school this morning from 8 til now, not even 3 stinking hours!! I am soooo pissed! I mean it was even in a plastic tub, nothing fancy. And I have two red chairs, a metal dog, a little table and another plant in a really nice pot that Dan got me. What the hell?!?!?! I am sooo sad too, they were so pretty and from my mom! It is a little odd too, my neighbors have pretty bushes and flowers on there patio, nothing was taken. WHY ME?!?!?!

Yeah, you are going to have to bare with me on the pics of my doggies....they are my kids, therefore they will be plastered all over my blog along with my human family! :) I was getting my stuff ready for work the other day and George decided he needed to sit in the middle of my police gear.....what a nerd. He is sooooo cute. Then he started "talking to me" when I was telling him to get out, as you can see. (See they are my kids, they even sas back!!)
The other I just couldn't resist taking of the two napping. I love my boys, life would be so dull without them. (all you dog lovers understand) Even if I want to kill George every time he decides to lay in the middle of the grass when I am in a hurry and need him to come back inside. Yes, I know leashes are wonderful things but sometimes we run outside in a hurry, someone in the family has a tiny bladder!
Things are running smoothly here, we had a GREAT weekend with momma and dad Jackson, we were sad to see them go but can't WAIT to see them in sept/oct when we go camping with them!! I have two midterms and a test this week and one midterm and two tests next week yay me!! This weekend we get to see Mel's house (only 2.4 miles away, how nice is that?!?!) and partake in the painting party, going to go ahead and guarantee some interesting pics from that to be posted afterwards! Tah Tah for now.....

This weekend Momma and Dad Jackson came all the way to see us from St. Louis!! Friday night we did not do much, Dan and I had to work early saturday, so we just hung out and had pizza!! Saturday after work we went to Smoke House BBQ......YUMMMY!!!! Then off to sheridan's, a new experience for momma and dad jackson. It was YUMMYY too....thanks for the dessert guys!! Tomorrow will be church day and a trip to Queen's Pantry to try some yummy teas!! Oh and as you can see I recruited two more members to join my clan of the crazy picture club!!! Oh what fun we have! Thanks for a great weekend so far momma and dad jackson, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow but sad it will be then end of your stay. We can't WAIT to go camping with you in sept/oct!! More pics tomorrow.....(don't worry they will be normal pics...I promise!!)

Crazy times in Manda P. Land.......

Yeah, nothing new so I decided to post some silly pics we took when I first got my computer. Notice Dan's tongue in Louie's snout!! :) Ahh we are silly! Now we must include our little George in the crazy madness pictures! If only he knew what was in store for him when he joined my little family!!

He is doing well after having his huevos taken from him, little sleepy and a little bit of an upset tummy, but he will be back to his jumping bean little self soon! I have got to take pics of him and his jumping bean abilities. He can jump so high from standing still it is crazy!! His favorite is to be on the side of the couch, next to the end table and jump over the end table and arm of the couch into my lap and pile of notecards for school. It's good times, it's so hard to get mad because it is soooo funny. He just does it out of the blue.

Hope everyone is having a good week, friday is sooooo close! I made it through another tough week of school but did really good on two hard tests!! WHOOO HOOOO only 7 more weeks til I get a 2 week break!!
