We are off......

We are off for a great camping time til Tuesday night! We leave tomorrow and don't get back til late tuesday. George already misses us, look he is looking for us! (Actually there were kids outside he wanted to go play with, if you look really close you can see them) My parents are watching the biggen (louie) and Trishy and Brian are watching George for us. Thanks guys, you are saving us a TON of money and they will get lots better luvin with you.

Round #2

Ok, ummmm for those of you who don't know, Dan and I are pigs! We totally were craving shrimp again and the endless shrimp is STILL going on and uhhhh, we might have gone there AGAIN yesterday. It was so good, we were sitting there laughing cuz we just did this less than two weeks ago and here we were again, stuffing our faces! We got the same kinds again except Dan ordered the buffalo shrimp and they were out so they substituted with coconut shrimp and he was WAY excited, that's his favorite kind of shrimp and they don't normally offer it, why I don't know. Anyways, we had to be rolled out of Red Lobster once again after our shrimp fest. In all honesty we went cuz we read the add online and it said it only happens once a year and we thought it was a couple times during the year, so we had to jump on it!(and we are pigs) Just thought I would give you an update on our fatness, Oh and yes, our eating feast was just a few hours after the 5k......totally blew that workout! (it was WELL worth it)

Today at the booty crack of dawn, myself, Daniel, Steveie-poo, Mel and Liam piled in the 4runner for some good times at the 5k!! It was for juvenile diabetes. Stevie-poo ran it in 23 minutes, freakin amazing!! Way to go Stevie-poo!! The rest of us walked it, not so much into running. There was lots of interesting scenery but the best had to be mr. tan pants, or lack of. They were SOOOO short it was not even funny, ok it was hilarious, he was a runner and when he passed us we all looked at each other like did you just see that! So being the retards we are, Mel got closer to him and made it look like I was taking a pic of her so I could take a pic of him for all of you to see, yes I know we are going to hell, we shall save you all a seat! :) So, that is the reason for a quarter of Mel's beautiful face in the pic!! I was going to take a pic of the front of him but uhhh this is a family blog! Then on the walk back to the car Liam diverted off our course and had to smell the flowers, it was so cute! Hopefully we get to do another one soon, we had fun!

P.T. Flea

I caught a mole!!!!! Yeah so I get up this morning and Louie WILL NOT leave the scale alone. I am wondering what is wrong with my crazy dog and look around the scale and what to my surprise do I see? A baby mole!!! He was cute! I named him P.T. flea! He crawled right in my cup and I released him into the bushes outside of my apartment! I really don't know how he got in, I live in a nice apartment I swear!! I looked all over for more baby moles and possibly a mama but didn't find a thing! But what an odd little creature to find its way into my bathroom! Last month I found a little frog in there, maybe it's a sanctuary for little helpless babies....dunno!

ONE MORE WEEK!!!

The seven day count down BEGINS!!! We are leaving in exactly one week to go camping with Mom and Dad Jackson in Hannibal Missouri and we can't WAIT!!!! We are going to be out in the wilderness in our tent for 5 nights!! YIPPPEEEE!! I haven't been camping in forever and it's been tooooooo long since we have seen Mom and Dad! Lots of fishing, eating, walking and sleeping will be happening.
On another happy note FINALS ARE OVER AGAIN....for 13 weeks that is! I have a nice little two week break, which will consist of our camping trip, lots of time at Mel's, and some fall cleaning of my apartment!! When I go back on the 8th of October I get to start my clinicals and I am very excited to be taking x-rays of real people instead of my classmates!!
I also decided to add a pic of Louie and George, isn't he sooo cute peeking over him! I love our boys!! Hope everyone is having a great week! Tah Tah for now......

Last night we went to Dave and Meg's house, Dan's best friend. They are a blast and we don't get to hang out with them enough! This was the first time I actually remembered to bring my camera, so I actually got to take some pics of us! They live alllll the way in Edgerton KS, so our hangout time is not what we would like it to be, something we need to work on!!!

Anyways, Dave is the BESTEST ever fish griller! They had some fresh salmon and sea bass(kick his a@# Sea Bass) just caught by Dave's Dad and brother-in-law in Washington State and man oh man was it good and decided to have a little gathering! (I really had to stop myself from eating all the salmon) Chris and his wife Maddie were there also, Chris is the best bartender ever! He made lemon drop martini's all night and ummmmm I might have had a few! I have never had a martini before and I will be making them now!

After lots of eating and drinking the night ended with Dave and one of his fellow officers(a sgt I think) playin their guitars, they were good! Meg and I got the private show of Dan and Dave singing their Ford Festiva song, I even videoed it (maybe it will appear on video vednesday?) after everyone left. Oh and I can't forget the strip show we got from Dave before everyone left, (all we asked was to see his pit hair and got a show with music and everything...long story) I do have pictures but sorry, you had to be there to be able to see the spectacular show! You would never guess that all the boys at that gathering and myself were cops!! We are very much looking forward to the Halloween party at Chris and Maddie's and of course pictures will be posted!!

First things first, I am WAAAAAY behind on my blog and all other computer activities, it was a crazy week last week and will be even more this week! My finals started last week, and I had to work so I didn't get much done. I did however get to have Liam and Mel come over on Thursday!!! Liam had seen George but not Louie yet, I was anxious to see how he would react and he did really good. He wasn't ever scared of him, it just took him a few minutes to warm up to Louie. Louie is so gentle and aware of kids, I think that helps them warm up to him because he is not all up in their business, he lets them come to him(not so much George's style) and then he wants allllll of their attention. Liam even tried to "feed" him with his wooden spoon! Mel has those, maybe she will put one up or I will after I snatch them from her. He even almost gave Louie a kiss goodbye, he leaned in but not all the way! He wanted to take him on a walk though! It was soooo cute! Thanks Mel from brining over Suishi, you two still need to plan your date(s) so I can get some more Suishi time!! :)

Video Vednesday!!

Ok, so I am new at this, hopefully it works, I wanted to be a part of Video Vednesday! We don't have "real" kids so you guys get to see........you guessed it our fur kids!!
So, George is quite the character and he proves it in this video. We just taught him how to lay down, and uhhh he puts a twist on it. You would think he would lay down like any other normal dog, you know on their stomach, but no, he doesn't feel the need to lay down properly. He is so cute! I wonder if he will still do this when we tell him to go lay down? Hee Hee! Sorry it's kinda dark, next time we will have better lighting! Have a great Vednesday everyone!!

* On a kind of a gross side note, George decided he needed to puke this afternoon. He was dead asleep and all of a sudden he jumps up and stumbles to the door and I am looking at him trying to figure out what is going on.....then he starts the heaving. So, I got on the floor with him and made sure he stayed on the tile, didn't look like we had time to get outside. He pukes bile and has it stringing from his face. He is just standing there looking sooo sick and sad, like he knows more is coming. So I stayed with him and pet him and yup the poor little guy puked a little more and just stood there while he had droolies hanging from his mouth. I scooped him up and cleaned him up and of course the puke. He just looked like a little person that was sick, I felt so bad and had to share! :) Now he is sleeping peacefully on the couch, hopefully he is done for the day!

SHRIMP FEST '07

So, I don't know how many of you have experienced Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster but uhhhhh, you need to. I myself was not aware of this magnificent feast until TODAY!! Dan and I went around 3:00 this afternoon after I got out of class, we had the whole place to ourselves!! He ate about 75 shrimp and I ate about 60(and maybe we each had a ceasar salad, maybe he had fries and maybe I had a baked potato), WOW it was sooooo good and yes we are lard asses, but hey, it was endless shrimp! Oh and of course endless heavenly cheese garlic biscuits. Is anyone picking up on my love affair with food, I love to eat WAY toooo much! Anyways, we had garlic scampi, popcorn, hand breaded, linguini alfredo, and their new buffalo shrimp and they were ALL good! This will be a yearly tradition for us!! So, any others going to partake in the shrimp fest?

*Alison--- Mel and I are hooked on the suishi from the commissary, yeah the stinking commissary, who would have guessed? (It's the military grocery store, my parents are retired military, what is it called with the navy?)

It sounds like it would be an Americana party but it wasn't, they have the CUTEST stuff!! You all should check out their website and order stuff, Mel booked a party for the 22nd of Sept. and my party is the 15th of October. So ladies, check it out and if want something just holla! :) (ok I am done)
Today is friday, thank goodness! I have to work this weekend and do lots of homework, but no big test on monday for once for the past 10 weeks! The final is next monday but I get a little break! Whooo Hooo for breaks! We don't have any big plans for the weekend, we did see Halloween the other night, VERY SCARY!! Very good though! I will not let the dogs out by myself at night for the next week at least!! Tah Tah for now....

Nothing like helpin' your daddy!!!

The Woods are all moved in and we got to see LIAM!!! I love you Mel and Steve but I missed seeing little suishi!! He is so darn cute and freakin hilarious!!! He decided to help Steve drink his beer, check out his eyes, he is even making sure it is going in right! Hee Hee (Someone might have dozed off before others, but in all fairness my bubs had been up for 19 hours, darn the stinking day shift!!! Besides, somebody had to try out the comfy looking leather chair, I think it passed the comfy test!!)
Dan and I are counting down til our camping trip, 23 more days!! YAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!! We are going to Hannibal Missouri with Momma and Dad Jackson to camp on Mark Twain Lake, a glorious 5 NIGHTS!!! We are so excited and we miss you Momma and Dad Jackson lots and can't wait to see you again. Oh and by the way, we got the run down of the menu last night, yeah I am gonna gain 15lbs while we are away!! Hee Hee, I don't care it's VACATION!! That's what vacation is for! Shortly after we get back my 4th quarter begins for school, only a year left! Wow, the first year has flown by! My clinicals will start, I get to go to Shawnee Mission Medical Center, so you will get to hear alllll about that soon! Fun times!! Have a great week everyone!

Happy Labor Day!!!

Today we spent the day with my family. We just ate and hung out, it was good times! Oh and we took lots of pics, it's been awhile since we have taken a "true" family photo with the rents and us three girls!! Unfortunately Kylie was not there, she was with her papa, so I didn't get any of the cutie!! We took our little fur baby with us, George!! He had not been to my parents yet, he had fun too, I just know he did! Hope you all had a great weekend and a good day off!

NO MORE PAINTING!!!

AHA!!! So, you know all those annoying times I have posted pics that should be vertical but I couldn't get my computer to do it!! I FIGURED IT OUT!!! For whatever reason I have to save the pic I want that I have changed in my photo library (i.e. flipped it vertically or made it black and white) to my desktop then it will allow me to post it that way!! yippeee! For whatever reason the pic will save changed in my photo library but when I tried to add it to my blog it posted it the way it was taken not saved and I wanted to kick in my computer!!! I am sure you all could have done without that confusing explanation but I needed to vent!!!

So, yeah this was from last weekend or the weekend before and I love it and wanted to post it the correct way!!! We were done painting last weekend and now we are moving them in, Daniel and I are going back over in about 2 hours and the fun shall begin and of course we will be there Sunday too!!!
