So many new things going on....

So, where do I start? We moved last thursday...YAAAY! Last friday was my last day of Rad Tech school....DOUBLE YAAAAAY!! Now all I have to do is take my registry, which will be sometime after we get back from Florida (not trying to squeeze that in before Oct 18th!) Everyone pitched in and bought me my graduation present....A NEW CAMERA!!!! I love it, it's a Sony DSLR a200, and I couldn't be happier. I have only had it for a few days and not enough time to really play with it yet, but the above pics are from it. Poor George, he is so sick of my taking his picture he just shuts his eyes!! lol  I have pics of our new place, my bridal shower and my cousin tay cheering....so much to do so little time!!

Mel---see a brother to a visitor or two of yours!! These freakin spiders are EVERYWHERE!!! I need to look them up, they are grossing me out! Way to big for me to handle! (cool to take pics of!! lol)

Three weeks from today I will be MRS. JACKSON!!!!

A night out with my Truman Posse....

Crazy Cracka (aka Kristi), Jessica and me
All cute before the dancing and sweating began...that place was packed!
                                        The Cherry Bombs!!

                                       Bubs and Neil
Me, Connie and Crazy Cracka  (aka Kristi)
Friday night was set up by my fabulous clinical instructor Cindy (above with Neil). Neil, Connie and I are all in the same rad class and we are DONE on friday sept 19th!!! The rest of the posse are all rad techs already, some didn't make it in front of the camera or out at all that night! Cindy thought we should all go out and celebrate our upcoming graduation---what a fantastic idea it was!
She recommended this awesome group called The Cherry Bombs.....wow, they are freakin amazing. They are local to KC and play allll over the metro area. They totally play all old school music, we got to listen to some M.C. Hammer, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, The Egyptian song....the list goes on. We all new every song and every word to those songs!! So friday night was spent singing our little hearts out and dancing our little booties off. In fact, my Crazy Cracka and I were the FIRST ones on the dance floor and got ourselves some Cherry Bomb stickers smacked (oh and I do mean smacked, that girl had an arm!) on our booties for being the first ones out there. Thanks guys for not only a wonderful night but a great six months!! I am glad I will be just around the corner for the next two years with my ultrasound clinicals, you won't be far at all!!

Shrimpfest is baaaaaack......

Yup, it's that time of year again!! Ever since Bubs got me hooked on it last year, I will NEVER go a year without it!! This year Mel, Steve and Liam joined us!! We had waaaaay too many shrimps, scrumpcious cheesey garlic biscuits and other great stuff from Red Lobster. I don't know when it ends but I really want to go again this year already!! We ended the evening with Bubs and I asking the waitress at the very same time....."when does this end?" Can you tell we love to eat endless shrimps?? :) At least we made Mel, Steve and the waitress laugh!! Thanks for going with us guys, it was fun!
