Seriously...I have to go to bed...LOL

Seriously...last post of the night, or early morning I guess. Why does Picnik have to be such a time suck?!?! And a good one at that. Ha! Tomorrow is going to be rough. :)

So as you can see, I used the same photos twice. Just playing with one of my fave websites...picnik. Lillie is so in love with George it is just almost too cute. She lights up every single time she sees him. She doesn't even try to kiss us yet, but as you can see she is all about kissing her Georgie. Anytime you put her near him she closes her eyes and opens her mouth and goes in for the big one. She also stretches her hands out to the max just to touch him. Hee hee, they are so cute together.

This was made by my lovely Angela. She took the time to make me a few Louie collages and at first I was going to post them all at once, but then I decided it would be more fun to spread them out and spread out the memories with him. We miss him like crazy. The house isn't the same without the biggin in it anymore, but we know he isn't hurting. Thank you so much Ang, I know you loved Louie just like we did. You have no idea how much this made my day. I love you!!

She had her first veggie mum mum the other day and it started well, she was curious and gave it a whirl. The fingers ended up winning again. Such a silly girl we have. We love you Lillie Monster. xoxo

Happy St. Patrick's Day...part one....

This year St. Patty's day fell on a thursday which meant Dan and I had to work. So, after a few pictures that morning by her momma dearest, Lille was off to ring in St. Patty's Day with one of her other families. :) Thank you guys so much (Woods and Holts) for celebrating with the monster. These will definitely be in her baby book for part of her first St. Patty's Day. We will be celebrating later today, more pics to follow....

Wow, the big 3-2. You are becoming such an old man. Hee Hee We love you so much. It stinks that you had to work today, on your birthday, but I am so glad we got to celebrate your birthday with all of our family and friends last week. You are more than I could ever ask for in a husband and a dad. You make me fall more and more in love with you every single day when I didn't think it was possible to love you anymore than I already do. We love you boo.

Our Lillie monster is 5 months already?!?!?

Wow, 5 months since our Lillie monster came into our lives. Time is just flying by. Lillie, a little of what you are doing....you are starting out on solid food, yaaaay. You love whole wheat and sweet potatoes, but you are not so sure about the green beans yet...hee hee like father like daughter. Louie would be so proud to hear one of your faves is wheat...lol. You still talk up a storm, smile all the time and the best is every time we get you out of your crib, you look like a baby bird flapping your arms and legs trying to get up to us with the biggest grins. You are rolling over both ways and doing a great job keeping your noggin up. You still love to stand, and only need a little help doing it. You are working on sitting up and crawling. You scoot around like no mans business all of the time. hee hee You are definitely a licker, anything you can get that crazy tongue on is yours! lol You are the most precious little girl and daddy and mommy love you more than words can express. Don't grow up too fast little monster. xoxo

Birthday celebrations with my Dad and my hubby....

My dad and Dan's birthdays are only a week apart...dad's is on the 5th of March and Dan the 12th, we always combine them for twice the birthday fun! :) This year we actually celebrated it on my dad's birthday. So, in honor of such a wise old man (wink wink) I made all of my pictures retro style thanks to picnik, which I LOVE! Thank you so much Mel for finding that and sharing!!

So, back to birthdays, it was a fun night. Mom made dad a cute cake with clowns crawling all over it and I made french silk pies for Dan that he requested. :) Happy Birthday to the two most important men in my life! I love you guys!! xoxo

For our Chewybear...

I have always dreaded the day I would do this post, because it would mean he was gone. Louie's pain was just too much and we painfully decided it was time to help him. Louie left us on Friday, and it was the hardest day of our entire lives. He went peacefully in my arms as I whispered to him how much we loved him.

Life will not be the same without him, I know we will get better and our days will get brighter, but he will always have a part of our hearts. I was going to list all the wonderful things about him on this post, but first of all that would take forever and those that read this already know how wonderful he was. :)

Louie had been by my side since he was 8 weeks old and went through all of my ups and downs with me. He was lucky enough to meet Dan when I did, and Dan loved him just as much as I did even though he only knew him for 4 years. Through my ups and downs Louie also had his, his torn ACL, surgery to fix it only to re-injure it a year and a half later. I am just so thankful we were with him through it all and that he held on long enough to meet Lillie.

These past 3 days have been horrible, every little thing reminds us both of him, but we have to keep telling ourselves, he isn't in any pain anymore and is in a better place. And now Lillie has the best angel ever looking over her. We love you so much Louie and always will. xoxo
